What is Fermentation?

Fermentation is a traditional method of preserving foods.  For generations, home cooks fermented the harvest and the hunt for nutritious options during the winter months. We will share the basics of small-batch vegetable wild fermentation, with instructions and recipes. Once fermented, vegetables and condiments are root cellar stable for months providing families access to flavor, veggies, vitamins, and probiotics all winter long.
